Quick answers
- Controls: the left stick moves (push it all the way to sprint), hold SWING to swing, tap STRIKE to fight, SLIME to coat enemies. Pause → Controls lists every move. MFi and Bluetooth game controllers work too.
- Saves: the game saves automatically and keeps three save slots on your device. Deleting the app deletes its saves.
- Smoothness: if your phone runs warm, open Pause → Settings and turn off shadows, or switch off the PS2 filter.
- Suits: new suits unlock as you play. Pause → Suits shows what each one needs.

Hagfish Man is a single-player game. We do not collect, store or share any personal data.
- No accounts, sign-in, ads, analytics, tracking or in-app purchases.
- Your saves and settings stay on your device, in the app's own storage. They are never sent to us.
- When your phone is online, the game may download its display fonts from Google Fonts. That request contains no personal information beyond what any web request includes (such as your IP address), and we never receive it. If you are offline, the game uses fonts built into iOS instead.
- If you email us for support, we use your email only to reply to you and delete it when the conversation is over.
- The game is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
